Sept 16th, 2011:  Charter Discusses Gigabit Business Infrastructure for Redding
is the topic for the next Shasta Technology Association brown bag luncheon on September 16, from 12:00-1:00. Our guest speaker Jason Meksch, Major Accounts Executive at Charter Communications will review a new and significant upgrade Charter has implemented for its business broadband infrastructure. Businesses in the metropolitan Redding area, Anderson and Red Bluff can now plan for bandwidth speeds from 5 Megabit to 1Gigabit and higher for both uploads and downloads. The capability at the high end will be serviced on a case by case basis since not every business requires large bandwidth. Charter will work directly with any business to create a site evaluation, develop a proposed solution and related cost analysis. This is an excellent opportunity to hear about high-speed business broadband capacity that now puts Redding on par with other major cities.
